Richard Mohammadi, originally from Texas, was assigned to his unit in Alaska in 1993 where he married his wife. They have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. He is a military veteran with 29 years of service with the US Army. He received his commission through the OCS program in 1999. Richard graduated with Intermediate Level Education (ILE), Command and General Staff Officers Course (CGSOC) and Advanced Operations Course (AOC) certifications and retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. During this time with the military, Richard also earned his Bachelors of Science from University of Anchorage in Finance and Management, Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) certification, Masters of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) from The American College and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) from The American College. During his military career, Richard was also able to gain experience in the financial services industry working in Alaska with a national carrier. Now that he has retired from the military, he is ready to use all this experience and knowledge to help people plan and invest for their future financial health.
